For the record, I have never seen 'The Notebook' nor do I have any intention of EVER seeing 'The Notebook'. The only thing that interested me about that movie was the cover....obviously.
Poor Kyle, he looks great now, but we all know that curly hair + rain = 'fro. I speak from experience. XD
Looking back on this now, I see SO MANY anatomy mistakes... BUT!! I still love this picture to bits since it was one of the first drawings I actually put effort into that year.
I'm actually sad I ended up drawing this in my agenda. Sure it's great to know that I always had it, but all the lines! Lines! LINES!!!!! >_<
btw, I'm a total product placement WHORE. (refer to Stan's underwear. )
I love the poses in this. Kyle's slightly open mouth, and the way their eyes are closed, the way it looks like it's raining, the way Kyle is wigging his legs against Stan's torso. Stan's muscles are nicely done, too.
But what seals the deal for me is that it's done on day planner paper.
